"Matthew, you are a star that shines brightly no matter how dark the night might be. You were a friend and a mentor to not only me, but to so many young people like me. You embraced love, kindness, and humor in how you approached everything and everyone and that is what you makes you so special to all of us. Your loss truly hurts, but only because of all of the love that you poured into us. This world will never be the same without you, but maybe, just maybe, thanks to you this world will be a better place because of the seeds you sowed while you were here. Much love!
