What is Anytown?

Anytown Alabama is a week-long residential social justice leadership program for high school students. At Anytown Alabama, student delegates engage in typical summer camp activities and also develop leadership skills that they take back to their schools and communities. Student delegates spend a week participating in refreshingly open and supportive dialogue, forming life-long friendships, and sharing their cultures and beliefs while appreciating those of others. Students engage in intensive and interactive learning about social justice issues and leave Anytown empowered as leaders. Anytown is a fantastic opportunity for students who are currently in 9th – 11th grades to spend a week developing leadership skills and learning about social justice issues. Students make great friends, build their college resumes, and have a ton of fun!
